WELS has partnered with Leap Health beginning in 2026 to provide WELS VEBA health plan members with a convenient and cost-effective way to receive specialty infusion medications in the comfort of their own homes. “In addition to the convenience and expert care that Leap Health will bring to our WELS VEBA members, the cost savings on medications will reduce WELS VEBA rates charged to organizations and preserve valuable assets for ministry,” says Joshua Peterman, director of WELS Benefit Plans.
WELS VEBA members who use eligible specialty medications will receive information from Leap Health in the coming weeks on how to start using this new benefit.
